We are natives of Northern Illinois and have returned to the area after careers in education, both public schools and higher education. In the early '80's, John was principal of a middle and high school in Jo Daviess County. We raised our children at Apple Canyon Lake and the Galena areas even after moving away from the area.
We have been involved in real estate since 1979 in Illinois. We have chosen to come back to Jo Daviess for many reasons including the beauty and serenity of the area. Our goal has been to help others find their special place, whether a permanent home or weekend get-away here in the beautiful hills. We look forward to helping you make your goal a reality.
We have been married for 38 years and have 4 children, all married, and 12 grandchildren. As empty nesters, Josie, our 4th Airedale, enjoys our attention and playing with our grandchildren.

John's special interests include boating, landscaping, racquetball, sports cars, and learning and teaching about Renaissance and Medieval history. Nancy enjoys sewing, reading, gardening, as well as an interest in health and fitness. Faith, family, and friendships are our priorities.
Both of us love to have our family and grandchildren gather at our home at Apple Canyon Lake.
